My mate, Darren, sends me the cracking pencils from his various comics projects.
I'm trying to develop a quick but good-looking inking style.
I couldn't resist inking a page and then slapping some colour on [Darren's stuff will eventually be fully painted].
I love old 70's comics which look effortless but just happen to be perfect.
How best to aim for this? Maybe, superb intricate draughtmanship in the pencils [Darren] and then fast inks slapped over the top [me].
